About
This Bayliner 4285 Avanti Sunbridge was introduced in 1989 as the flagship of the Avanti line of Bayliner boats. The features that were avant-garde in 1989 remain unique in 2023. The 4285 is an aft cabin motor yacht disguised as an express sport cruiser. The euro inspired lines that drew raves when the Sunbridge was introduced still provoke second looks today.
On deck we start with a spacious cockpit with soaring radar arch, bimini top, and full enclosure. The helm is starboard with double-wide helm seat and full electronics including: Raymarine GPS/chart plotter, Raytheon radar, Humminbird fish finder, Raymarine Autohelm auto pilot, Garmin/Fusion stereo and West Marine VHF radio. A cockpit wet bar with U-Line Ice Maker is located behind the helm seat. There is wrap around cockpit seating port side and starboard with centerline transom door. Aft is a large sun deck with steps down to an extended swim platform. Forward we have a large foredeck and bow pulpit with anchor and windlass. A port side companionway next to the helm leads below to the salon.
You step below to an open salon with facing circular settees. The port side settee serves as the dinette while the starboard larger settee is divided in the center by an entertainment center. The galley is port side with L-shaped counter top with sink, electric cook top with built-in microwave oven, new Vitrifrigo refrigerator/freezer, and under-counter trash compactor. Opposite the galley is the guest/day head with mirrored vanity, toilet, and shower. The forward stateroom shares the guest/day head and features offset queen berth, hanging locker with drawers, and television. The master aft cabin is divided from salon by the engine rooms with centerline companionway. The aft stateroom has island queen berth, television, hanging locker with drawers, and en suite head with mirrored vanity, toilet, and shower stall.
Delfine is powered by twin 375 horsepower turbo-diesel engines designed for long-lasting dependable performance. With only 727 hours they are barely broken in.
